A Category B Listed Building in Ancrum, Scottish Borders

Ancrum Old Parish Church

Uploader's Comments

A church has stood on this spot since the 12th. century but was replaced by a new church, incorporating a fragment aisle from the original, in 1762. Much reparation work was carried out in 1832 before the church was finally abandoned in 1890 when a new church opened in Ancrum vilage. The graveyard at the old kirk is still in use.
