Design by Peter Dawson of Barra, builder, 1825; built
1829-34. Simple, rectangular-plan 4-bay church. Harled.
4 tall, round-headed windows to long east wall (modern
glazing), west wall blank, round-headed door with fanlight
in south gable below apex belfry. Straight skews; slate roof.
Interior: renovated circa 1982; simple woodwork; south end
partitioned to form vestry and porch.
Situated at south west end of quadrangular burial enclosure; rubble-built walls, single gatepier with pyramidal cap at
south west; some burial enclosures.
Ecclesiastical building in use as such.
The principal heritor was RC; hence probably, the delay
in building.
