Dated 1847. Hall and school of Free Church. Tall single
storey, rubble, 2 gable front, larger gable has Venetian with
date panel over.
Newton of Pitcairns was feued in the 18th century by the
Grahams of Orchil who then owned the estate. The village
still has late 18th century character but the houses are now
nearly all altered; one is dated 1793.
