Large later Victorian hotel building, tall 2-storey and attic snecked dark local rubble with freestone dressings. Semi-symmetrical treatment 3 canted bays alternated with windows, 3 gablet alternated with 2 piended dormers above. E 2 canted bays are 2-storyed with consoled doorpiece between them, W canted bay at 1st floor only with original Corinthianesque cast-iron columned shop-front at ground floor. slated roofs.
