Description

William Burn, circa 1829. Single storey lodge, squared and coursed sandstone with contrsting dressings. Gabled porch and canted bay to N, windows to each return of gable, harled modern extensions at rear. Small diamond-pane glazing to casement windows. Bracketted, overhanging eaves, grey slates, ashlar coped ridge stack. Square ashlar gatepiers surmounted by scrolled ornmanent with ball finials.
