Circa 1835. Symmetrical, shallow U-plan row of 6 single storey farm cottages of the Wemyss Estate, with attic and central pend. Squared and snecked sandstone with ashlar dressings, hoodmoulds to major openings. 2 cottages flanking Tudor-arched pend to each side, each with door at centre flanked by windows and with 2 piend roofed dormers to attic. End cottages L-plan, doors to inner return. Some lean-to porch additions at rear. Some later windows inserted with cement-rendered surrounds. Sash and case windows with 12-lying pane glazing pattern at ground floor, 4-pane to dormers. Grey slates to piended roof, ashlar coped ridge and wallhead stacks. Low harled retaining wall with crenellated rubble coping, enclosing front gardens.
In a neo-Tudor style similar to Bothy Cottage within the Gosford policies.
