Description

Earlier to mid 19th century. Single storey T-plan cottage to W of Garden Plantation. Squared and snecked red sandstone with ashlar dressings, chamfered reveals, hoodmoulds, crowstepped gables, 1 with ball finial. 3-bay entrance elevation with advanced gable to right, columned porch in re-entrant angle with crowstepped and finialled ashlar gabled canopy; door with 6-lying pane fanlight. Stone mullioned Tudor-arch bipartites with lying panes to left and to advanced gable at right. Lean-to wooden porch at rear, sash and case windows with lying-pane glazing. Grey slates, coped ashlar stacks.
