Description

Earlier to mid 19th century. 2-storey Gardener's cottage comprised of 2 interlocked gabled blocks with single storey additions at rear built into garden wall of Luffness House; random rubble with contrasting stugged ashlar dressings. Entrance to S enclosed within small walled courtyard, windows at ground and 1st floor. 2 windows at ground to E with loft door at centre of 1st floor. Single storey piend roofed additions with further entrance to N. Round-arched windows to rear piercing garden walls. Sash and case windows; 12- and 8-pane glazing patterns. Red pantiles, slate eaves course, coped skews, stacks with some decorative cans.
