Statement of Interest

Sited prominently in the hamlet of Redpath, built as a school, the building served this purpose until circa 1900. The schoolmasters desk and other associated equipment survive. The date can be found on the interior above the former door at centre. Listed category B for its historical interest in the hamlet, little altered form, decorative gableheads and apparent survival of interior details.
