Description

Early 20th century. Single storey and attic, 3-bay, rectangular-plan, manse. Red bull-faced and snecked rubble sandstone to front, ashlar margins, harled to sides and rear, grey slate roof with swept eaves. Mostly original timber sash and case windows, single pane to bottom and multi-pane to top at front (modern replacement frames to dormerheads), mostly 8-pane to rear; tripartite ashlar-coped gabled dormerheads to front, bipartite swept dormerheads to rear; moulded eaves, coped end stacks; cast-iron rainwater goods.

FRONT ELEVATION: partially-glazed door to centre with small 4-pane window to left and bracketted canopy porch with slate roof, tripartite stair window above; tripartite window to left, tripartite flat-roofed canted window to right, 2 dormerheads above.

LEFT RETURN ELEVATION: window to right, slate roof lean-to to left, shallow outshot at attic level.

RIGHT RETURN ELEVATION: window to left and right, shallow outshot at attic level.

REAR ELEVATION: 4 windows to ground floor, door to lean-to at left, 3 dormerheads.

INTERIOR: not seen.
