Description

Macdonald, Aberdeen, sculptor, 1883. Tall slender Celtic cross
rising from rustic shaft base, raised on rubble cairn.
Inscribed plaque built into cairn; enclosed by cast-iron
spearhead railings.

Statement of Interest

Erected by Mrs Ellen Burns Macdonald of Glencoe in memory

of McIan, Chief of Macdonalds of Glencoe (her ancestor),

killed 13th Feburary 1692.
