Early-mid 19th century, pair single storey cottages, each
3 wide bays with centre door. White washed rubble. Double
leaf plank doors; 2-pane glazing; diminutive gable loft
windows; modern fenestration to rear; end and ridge stacks;
corrugated iron roof.
Single bay extension at NW gable.
Interior; modernised interiors; stone canopied hearth
survives in SE cottage with monolith chimney breast
supported by corbels.
Dry stone garden wall divides gardens from road.
Fronts old military road. NW cottage said to have been an
inn known locally as "The Splash".
