Description

Late 18th century, 3 single storey, 2-bay cottages, linked
at angles to form east facing rear court. All rubble,
white-washed at north elevation. Piended extension to
north gable with 3 modern windows; 9-pane glazing survives
elsewhere; crowstepped gables; corniced end stacks;
heavy stone slate roof, re-roofed on some faces with dark
simulated slate tiles.
Coped drystone garden wall; small single storey rubble
outbuilding.

Statement of Interest

Reputed to have been "change house" (inn). Now 2

dwellings, one only inhabited. Appears on late 18th

century map of district.
