Description

Circa 1814, asymmetrical 2-storey bank and manager's
house; all harled with ashlar margins and dressings.
3-bay street frontage (SE) with advanced and gabled left
bay and gabled ashlar porch in re-entrant angle; single
storey gabled bay extends from NE gable. 4-bay SW facade,
with advanced and gabled outer bays with canted ashlar
bay windows in ground floors. Square, mainly ashlar,
porch in re-entrant angle; mullioned and transomed
tripartites and bipartites throughout; diminutive attic
windows in gables: truncated end stacks; slate roofs.
Low coped harled rubble retaining wall; square tooled
ashlar gate piers with pyramidal caps; pair cast-iron
carriage gates with spearhead detailing; matching
flanking pedestrian gate and railings.
