Description

Thomas Telford, circa 1815. Pair parallel tunnels below canal carrying footpath (which also serves as flood arch) and burn; flanked to north and south by wide semi-circular abutments. All rubble with tooled rubble dressings. Triangular cutwaters.

Constructed to provide access to Mount Alexander farm besides draining Allt Mor burn.
