Description

Circa 1920. Prominent tall square 3-stage clock tower;
bullfaced ashlar, tooled dressings. Shaped projecting
diagonal buttresses with stumpy terminal pinnacles at
lower stage, with door in centre of north facade. Single
narrow round-headed window with clock face above in each
elevation; continuous hoodmould, raised over clocks; triple
narrow, round-headed louvred lancets above; corbelled
corniced wallhead with ogee finialled roof.
Commemorative plaques for 1914-18 and 1938-45 war dead.
