Description

Reginald Fairlie, 1935. Simple rectangular church with
bowed west gable (liturgical east), bowed projecting NE
porch, gabled projecting chapel at NW, squat square tower
at SE. All white harled with contrasting painted cills,
base course and other detailing. Tooled ashlar 3 round
headed windows light east gable; similar smaller windows
light nave and chancel.
Engaged column supports statuette in centre of chapel
gable wall (north) under hood. Squat Germanic octagonal
ridge bellcote with louvred facets and shaped lead ogee
roof with tall apex cross. Slate roof.
Flat roofed extension at SW.
Interior: simple interior; ribbed timber ceiling to chancel.
Simple harled coped enclosure walls with square harled
piers with shallow pyramidal caps flanking entrance;
plain cast-iron railings and gate.
