1859. Octagonal staged Gothic monumental tower with buttresses to 1st stage, canopied niches to 2nd stage and wolf-like gargoyles to 1st stage parapet and to eaves level. Stugged sandstone ashlar, conical ashlar spire with decorative finial. Inscription plaque to tall pedestal.
A conspicuous landmark on a ridge north of Linlithgow, erected to the memory of Brigadier Hon. Adrian Hope killed in India in 1858. Possibly designd by Brown and Wardrop.
