Description

Immediately adjoining Souter Johnnie's Cottage. Later 18th
century pair of single storey cottages meeting at the
angle of the main road. Coursed rubble walls, freestone
dressings, skew gables, slate roofs (originally thatched),
moulded skewputs and eaves cornice, corner pilaster strips.
Door and window openings to road mostly blocked up.

Statement of Interest

Of the same architectural character as Souter Johnnie's

Cottage and probably built as a group (1786).
