Late 18th century. 2-storey cottage built over a burn at
N end. Random rubble with stugged dressings.
W ELEVATION: forestair oversailing the burn walled porch at head
with swept roof breaking eaves; open to N. Small window to
right at ground, flanked by larger window at outer right.
E ELEVATION: doorway at ground to right, otherwise blank
with blocked openings.
S GABLE: largely blank with upper window to right and
further opening below.
N GABLE: evidence of possible blocked opening. Brick gable
end stacks; pantiles.
INTERIOR: 1st floor flooring has disappeared. New roofing
apparent. Outline of former chimneypiece at 1st floor
on raised breast on N gable.
Probably served as a mill cottages in some way.
