Description

Probably A & W Reid, possibly incorporating earlier building.
SE facing single storey and attic, symmetrical 3-bay front
with additional ground floor window each side of centre door.
Harled. Decorative bargeboarded porch; 3 1st floor
gabletted dormers, those in outer bays breaking wallhead;
single ground and 1st floor windows in return gables; lattice
pane glazing to casement windows. Decorative bargeboards to
dormes and gable ends; coped end stacks; slate roof with
projecting eaves.

Statement of Interest

Stands close to earlier 19th century Knockfin bridge, and

may well be an earlier house pre-dating the establishment

of Tomich as an estate village to Guisachan.
