18th century (?) (possibly incorporating earlier work) farmhouse, substantially increased in size and refronted in earlier 19th century. Main block (south facing) rectangular, 2 storeys over basement and attic, 5 bays, 3 return bays to east and west. Ashlar. South elevation: 3 central bays, slightly advanced (part of 18th century house) central
projecting glazed porch with shouldered head to door and pierced balustrade, windows deeply recessed with moulded reveals, margins, and bracketted cills, (cornices to ground floor). Outer bays 1 window each floor. Band course between ground and first floors, eaves cornice and parapet extend to east and west elevations. East elevation: advanced northern bay with porch as on south. Later conservatory attached at
west. Rear, 2 storey wing, probably raised; whin rubble with contrasting long and short dressings. Corniced stacks, 3 panelled flues at wallhead to east and west. Slate roofs.
