Early 19th century single storey cottage with attached steading range, enlarged and cottage raised to two storey in mid 19th century. Farmhouse now 2 storey, 3 bay, with projecting gabled porch at centre with corn-sheaf finial, gabled wall head dormers over outer bays, stugged ashlar, gabled, slated, rectangular end stacks with cavetto cornice.
Inset stone to left of door has inscription "IDFW 1807". Single storey, single pitch roofed extension to west with big octagonal corner stack. Long single storey, pantiled, rubble range attached at east with two storey, double gabled, pantiled block at East End. 2-storey, piended, pantiled blocks project to South at East and west ends. Second single
storey pantiled range, parallel to 1st joins eastern projecting block at west side.
