Description

Rebuilt 1793; subsequent alterations and additions. 2-storey,

3-bay manse, with rear wing and 2-storey 2-bay addition in SE

re-entrant angle. Rendered, with ashlar margins.

N elevation: central panelled door with decorative fanlight in

moulded architrave, small-paned and wide canted ground floor

windows not original; plate glass sashes at 1st floor;

eaves/lintel band; 2 piended, canted dormers; corniced end stacks Addition has ground floor tripartite in E gable. All roofs

slated. Rubble-built wall runs from W gable, 1795 lintel over

gate. Peind-roofed outbuildings.

Addition shown on 1st ed. OS (surveyed 1857). Change of Category

B to C(S) 12.7.88
