Garden area bounded at N by ?mid 18th century rubble-built
ashlar-coped wall, incorporating as garden gateway 1663
(dated) door from earlier Mossknowe house.
GATEWAY: red ashlar, square-headed opening in moulded
architrave, inscribed slab above and cornice with dog-tooth
ornament.
Wall linked at W to stables, low piended shed at E (19th
century, incorporating earlier fabric) with 2 round-headed
N-facing openings.
Inscribed slab bears initials of William Graham and Margaret
Irvine his wife, as well as thistle and fleur-de-lys ornament
and motto "Soli Deo Honor & Glora"
