Description

Later 19th century farmhouse possibly by David Bryce who

did work at Halleaths 1865; detached courtyard steading to

N, ranges of different dates, mainly 19th century.

HOUSE: single storey with wall-head attic dormers, 3 bays,

pointed central door and 1st floor window-heads (windows

sashes with 4-pane glazing pattern); narrow-coursed ashlar;

broad-eaved slate roofs; end stacks.

STEADING ranges 1 and 2 storeys about cobbled court; mainly rubble-built, ashlar dressings, slate roofs; free-standing cast-iron-columned haybarn at N.
