Description

Circa 1840. Picturesque single storey, 3-bay piend-roofed
cottage, rear wing with attic. Rubble-built with contrasting
red ashlar dressings and margins. E elevation: central
panelled door with fanlight, main roof swept over as canopy
and supported on 2 massive stone brackets; corniced
bipartites in outer bays with thin roll-moulding, sash
windows with lying-panes. Main roof also swept over bays
on either flank (canted window at S): single dormer to N
and S, the former small and piended, the latter more
modern. 2 axial stacks, each with 3 corniced square flues.
Slate roof.
