A Range of Derelict Stone-Built Farm Buildings

Uploader's Comments

Photo taken on 27 February 2022... there is an assortment of derelict, roofless buildings - substantial vernacular masonry. The majority are of dressed whinstone, often with granite quoins. On a wagon barn, brick was used for decorative effect on arched wagon bay entrances. Occasionally dressed sandstone was employed for some walls.

The buildings continue to weather and deteriorate over the years (probably last had some active use during WW2.
