Dated 1828. Painted ashlar gothic monument in iron-railed
enclosure. Stepped diagonal buttresses supporting crocketted
pinnacle, all raised above high square base, latter also with
diagonal buttresses, and hood moulded Tudor-arched panel to
each face (inscribed south face.)
Renwick was born nearby at the farm of Neiss, 1662. (Russel,
