Built 1855. Roadbridge; 2 segmental arches over Cluden
Water. Bullfaced red ashlar, pointed cutwater either side,
channelled voussoirs: outer pilaster strips: band below
coped parapets, latter curved at approaches. Flat roadway.
Also in Holywood parish. There are 2 drawings in SRO of
proposed bridge at Gribton 1824; RHP 35863 is a proposed
suspension bridge by Walter Newall.
RHP 35864 is an alternative design in stone by - Seggie,
architect.
