Description

14th/15th century. Massive rectangular tower house, whin
rubble with sandstone dressings 52' x 37' with very thick
walls. Arched entrance door and barrel vaulted hall at 1st
floor level. Interior, battlements and external stair James
Maclaren 1870. (Ruin prior to that date). Side arch with A.B.
(Blair) G.M. 1578 panel. Poor condition.

In poor condition. Formerly a Scheduled Monument, scheduled on 11/02/1993 and descheduled on 15/06/2016.
