SE (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: symmetrical. Centre bay to ground with jerkin-headed porch with timber door, flanking lights and tripartite windows on returns, windows in flanking bays and regular fenestration to 1st floor. Dated, wall-mounted stone sundial high up to outer left angle.

SW (THE SQUARE) ELEVATION: 2 windows grouped to right at each floor and 2 tiny attic openings above.

NW ELEVATION: windows to centre and outer left bays at ground, and to centre at 1st floor below shouldered stack; piended, single storey wing adjoining to outer left.

4- and 12-pane glazing patterns in timber sash and case windows. Grey slates. Coped ashlar and brick stacks with cans.

BOUNDARY WALLS: semicircular-coped rubble boundary walls.

Statement of Interest

The date painted on the sundial is suspect as during repainting, the assistant factor decided upon its use as the most commonly found date elsewhere in Main Street.
