Description

Mediaeval. Nave and Chancel. Random rubble. Gabled.
Roofless. Round-head doorways and slit windows. Long
couplet at E. end.
VESTRY (Macdonald of Largie Burial Aisle) on N. side:
Entered by low round arch. Pointed barrel vault with
stone-slabbed roof. Grave slabs. (2 with effigies; rest
ornamented).

Statement of Interest

Ruin. Was in use until 1770 when roof fell in.

(Largie House (largely 19th cent.), seat of Macdonalds

of Largie, was demolished, 1953.) Scheduled Ancient Monument No 3030.
