Description

Hunting/fishing lodge, with modified loch at front, dammed with

concrete. Late 19th/early 20th century. Built of horizontally-boarded timber, corrugated iron roof; 6-pane glazing with top hoppers.

In two parts; narrow gabled 2-storey part to right, with rear

forestair, stack on end wall, presumably bedroom accommodation; longer lower part has main roof swept over a partly-enclosed front varandah, hooks on inside wall presumably to rest fishing rods; large room inside for socialising/entertainment. Ridge stack. Rear outshot. Free-

standing gabled shed to north in similar style.
