Description

Later to late 18th century. 2-storey end of terrace house
with basement on falling ground at rear. Warm coloured rubble
sandstone, coursed and snecked to E front. Ashlar margins;
cement rendered margins to gable and windows at ground.
E ELEVATION: 3-bay. Doorway at centre with window close by
to right; windows flanking in outer bays and to each bay at
1st floor under eaves.
W ELEVATION: stair window at centre. Addition to basement
projecting to right, with flat-roof and French windows to
ground floor inserted in original house. Original windows to
outer bays at 1st floor under eaves.
12-pane glazing pattern to sash and case windows. Pantiles
with slate easing course. Mutual gable stack, and gable end
stack repaired in brick.

Flagstones and setts between terrace and avenue.

Imposing group, built for yeomen.
