Description

Earlier 19th century. Single storey L-plan cottage, formed of
2 adjoined 3-bay cottages. Rubble with ashlar dressings and E
gable harled.
S WING: 3 irregularly grouped bays, with doorway at centre
given simple, timber gabled porch, with windows in flanking
bays.
E WING: slightly recessed with bays arranged as above; boarded
door. Small window flanking door to left, inserted later.
Harled flat-roofed addition at N end.
12-pane glazing pattern to sash and case windows. Pantiled
roofs with ashlar skews and gable end stacks repaired in
brick.
RETAINING WALL: rubble coped rubble wall, curving to S,
shielding cottage from road at junction to E.
