Description

Mills; earlier 19th century, pair of mills on sloping site

sharing same mill lade. Both rubble, harl pointed with stugged dressings. Iron mill wheels without buckets to each west gable.

Top mill; 2 storeys, 3 bays, with wooden lean-to.

Lower Mill; 2 storeys and attic, 5 bays with extra door in

ground floor and hoist loft entrance in west gable apex.

Slate roofs to both mills.

Mill Cottage; early 19th century, small single storey, 3-bay

harled cottage; centre door; flanking windows 1 with 8-pane

casement and 1 with 12-pane sash; end stacks; corrugated iron

roof.
