Description

Circa 1800, possibly incorporating earlier core; T-plan house
of slightly differing builds, with circa 1900 additions.
Harled rubble with tooled and polished ashlar margins and
dressings. Entrance in centre of 4-bay E elevation, masked by
single storey rectangular, circa 1900, fenestrated porch with
side entrance; rusticated ashlar quoins, continuous moulded
cornice and balustrade. 4-bay W front with projecting gabled
centre 2 bays with diminutive attic window and apex stack;
flanking single storey rectangular projecting windows;
similar 2-storey projecting fenestration to S gable.
Long gabled circa 1800 2-storey range at N forming arm of T,
which may possibly incorporate earlier single storey house,
now kitchen area.
2 small swept 20th century dormers at W; mainly 12-pane
glazing. Margined end and apex stacks; Banffshire slate
roofs; stone ridges.
