Dated 1677. Low 2-storey house, long irregular 3-bay W facing
house with single storey rear wing projecting at SE forming
L-plan. Whitewashed and harled rubble. Off-centre door in W
front masked by later gabled porch with side entrance and
front window over which is re-set scrolled and carved
pediment with coat of arms. 3 circa 1900 piended dormers
break wallhead; 2 small gable windows at N and 1 (possibly
another blocked) at S. Mainly 4-pane glazing.
Crowstepped gables; ridge and end stacks; slate roof,
corrugated iron roof to rear wing; stone ridge. Later
continuous lean-to extension at rear with modern
fenestration.
Walkerdales belonged to the Gordons of Aberlour and was
purchased from them during the latter half of the 18th
century by Gordon of Letterfourie.
Front and rear cavetto skewputts dated 16 and 77.
