William Robertson, 1838. Rectangular former church, now
converted as house, with long elevations N and S and gabled
porch in E. Rubble, tooled ashlar dressings. Entrance porch
with side doorway and round-headed hoodmoulded window in E;
4 long narrow hoodmoulded windows in N and S elevations,
similar 2-light former gallery window in E gable; modern
glazing. Crocketted bellcote at E; modern concrete tiled
roof.
Large garage door slapped in lower part of rear gable. Walled
enclosure.
Sited at E end of Rathven parish and designed as a chapel of
ease for the use of the expanding burgh of Portknockie and
the Cullen Seatown, though not situated within the present
Portknockie burgh boundary.
Converted to dwelling house 1971-2.
