Small mansion house of complex plan: N. part probably oldest,
early 18th century, 2-storey and basement parallel main block
added c. 1750 quoined 5-window front, centre bay, 3 storey
projecting with shaped gablet. (Wooden doorpiece and stops c.
1835) forming U-plan open to E; N. wing internally remodelled
and 3-storey block with canted bay inserted in court in early
19th century; W. wing added 1890. Rubble built, partly
harled. Interior work largely original.
