Description

Early-mid 19th century. Single storey and dormerless attic,
gable end to street, 3-bay cottage with continuous slightly
lower single storey, 2-bay extension at S gable. Heavily
pointed rubble, tooled rubble dressings. Centre entrance
masked by lean-to timber porch. Modern 2-pane glazing. End
and ridge stacks; concrete tile roof.

Statement of Interest

Chimney stack at S gable, serving former store or separate

dwelling, set on ridge rather than gable apex, indicating

that it served a 'hanging lum' or chimney canopy.
