Description

Early 19th century, altered early 20th century. 2-storey, 6-bay tenement with entrances to rear. Harled with stone margins. Stone mullions.

SE (MAIN STREET) ELEVATION: No 1 to left of centre with 2 windows to each floor; slightly taller block with Nos 3 and 7 to centre and Nos 5 and 9 to right, each with 2 bipartite windows to each floor. Rounded angle to outer right, corbelled to square at 1st floor.

SW ELEVATION: gabled elevation of No 1 with windows to right and left of centre at ground, and to centre at 1st floor. Screen wall with round-arched entrance abutting to outer left.

NE (BROAD WYND) ELEVATION: window to right of centre at 1st floor.

12-pane glazing pattern in timber sash and case windows. Coped harled stacks with cans. Pantiles, and ashlar-coped skews with block skewputts.

BOUNDARY WALLS: coped rubble boundary walls.
