Description

Dated 1792. Symmetrical 2-storey, 3-bay farmhouse with
pedimented low flanking wings. Rubble-built with ashlar
dressings, painted window margins. S elevation: architraved
round-headed doorway (modern door), with dated keystone,
behind glazed large modern porch; windows all sashes with
4-pane glazing pattern; eaves/lintel band; cornice; straight
skews; end stacks; slate roofs. Wings have recessed linking
bays; bipartite inserted left. Rear outshot to farm courtyard
with main roof swept over.

Statement of Interest

Keystone also initialled "JJ".

Steading too altered to merit listing, but has unusually

sited horsemill above public road.
