Mid 19th century. Exceptionally large and fine pair of
ornamental Gothic cast-iron gates and gatepiers with smaller
turnstile pedestrian gate. Gatepiers on octagonal plan with
open upright members and traceried detail, caps in form of
crown steeple with crocket finial.
It is unusual to find gatepiers of this scale in cast-iron,
they are of outstanding quality. B Group with Corsock House
Stables.
