Description

Late 18th/early 19th century. 2-storey 3-bay farmhouse with
long single storey steading range extending from south west
gable; (altered) small rear wing. Ashlar skews, but all
rubble-built otherwise, and whitewashed, with contrasting
painted margins. Farmhouse: modern central porch on south
east elevation, and sash windows with 4-pane glazing; modern
brick stack built against southern angle; corniced end
stacks. Steading range: 3 north west-facing doors above
cobbled pavement; one door gives access to house, others have
sliding doors; loft door on south west gable; south east wall
blank. All roofed with graded slates.
