Description

Earlier 19th century. Single storey, asymmetrical, Gothic lodge.

Stugged, squared and snecked sandstone with ashlar margins and quoin strips. Pointed arch windows with chamfered reveals; roll-moulded surrounds. Eaves band; base course; string course. Projecting bracketted eaves.

S (MAIN) ELEVATION: 2-bay. Advanced canted bay to right, window on each face and pilaster strips defining corners; moulded string course at impost level. Door in bay immediately to left, loose trefoil head.

W ELEVATION: 2-bays. Advanced canted bay to outer right, detailed as bay on S elevation. Paired windows in bays to left. Later flat-roofed addition at rear.

uPVC plate glass and top-hopper windows. Grey-slate roof, lead flashings. Tall, coped ridge stack, paired octagonal cans.
