Description

Circa 1840. 2-storey corner building with classical details.
Red ashlar, with architraved openings. 4 windowed bays to
High Street, the outer with ground floor bipartites at
ground; curved windowed bay turns corner; 3 bays to Battery
Street, central shallow advanced entrance bay gabled above
eaves with 3 bold octagonal flues (corresponding flues
opposite); consoled door pediment. Sash windows (12 and
8-pane) throughout. Deep cornice over each floor; single
later small-paned gabled dormer; piended slate roof, curved
over corner.
