Description

Probably by William Leiper. Dated 1874. Dovecot, cylindrical
drum with tall conical roof. Rubble-built with ashlar
dressings; door/inset sculptural panels facing 4 directions
(sundial to south west, flight-holes over panel at north
have inscribed lintel and have carved blocks flanking);
moulded eaves. Slated roof has single decorative lucarne,
tall weathervane finial.

Built within grounds formerly attached to Coll Earn House,

which is by Leiper.
