Description

Probably early 19th century. Two-storey, three-bay house. Whin rubble with droved dressings, stop chamfered margins. Slate roof. End (south) gable partly rebuilt.

Statement of Interest

Re-categorised as C from B for Group in 2006, when the B for group category was phased out. Statutory Address amended in 2013. Previously listed as 'Brig House (John White & Son Tenant Mrs Gonsales) Eden Place'.

When the cottage was listed in 1972 it was described as having a thatched roof. Listed building record revised in 2021 as part of the Thatched Buildings Listing Review.
